Unfurling in the glass with scents of citrus blossom, fresh peach and pears, the 2018 Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses is full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, with an elegantly textural attack, lively acids and a fleshy core of fruit. This is a round, demonstrative Preuses that will show well young, even if it can't quite match the tension and salinity of the best vintages.

Winery Information

Domaine Servin is one of the largest and oldest domain in Chablis, with its establishment since 1547, run by the current 7th generation of the family, Mr. Francois SERVIN - the owner & winemaker. This ownership covers 42 hectares of vineyards on kimmeridgian limestone-clay soils of tiny oyster shells with an average vine age of 40 years. 90% of the productions are exported to 28 countries well around the world.

Wine Note
'Les Preuses' is a complex wine, striking a keen balance between mineral aromas and explosive flavours on the palate. Capable of being the best of the Chablis Grands Crus, it is one of the most respected. Les Preuses offers an exceptional ageing capacity.
57 years old vine with manual harvest. 100% fermented in stainless steel tanks and 40% in oak barrels for 20 months.
Bright yellow colour. Powerful and elegant nose of floral and almond aromas and minerality is well present. The attack on the palate is warm and welcoming showing yellow fruit (peach) notes. The finish is mineral, fresh and round with an excellent balance.
